Welcome to UK Surnames Updated 24 April 2008 IMPORTANT NOTICE FOR AOL USERS: AOL continue to block email messages sent from this site. If you are an AOL user you might wish to complain to AOL that you are no longer able to receive messages sent from the domains county-surnames.co.uk or uk-surnames.com, or find an alternative email address and let me know. The blocking is due to some AOL users deciding that the mail sent from the site was spam and reporting it as such, rather than asking me to remove all of their details from the databases. NEW FEATURE I have removed the old place name search and provided better facilities to search and browse the site by place rather than surname. The Place Name pages also contain additional links and maps and a short description (weel - I have made a very small start on them) PLACE NAME BROWSING AVAILABLE HERE The Surname search routines have also been fixed and are working extremely well. The list of recently added entries has been fixed and can be found at 50 Most Recent Entries This site relies totally on advertiser revenue and donations.
